![]() On January 13, 2011, we announced that the Danish-Swedish Farmdog has been accepted into the AKC Foundation Stock Service Program. We are also excited to see, today, that lady Flora now appears on the AKC-FSS website as an official AKC Foundation Stock Service Breed! This is wonderful news! US Born Danish-Swedish Farmdogs are now recognized by an FCI kennel club. The AKC has a reciprocity agreement with the FCI, so that AKC-FSS pedigreed dogs may show and breed in FCI member countries. Prior to this acceptance, US Born Farmdogs were not members of the world dog community. Now they are! View the AKC-FSS page all about Danish-Swedish Farmdogs by clicking here. The Farmdogs are represented by miss Flora, the first DSF imported into the USA by Melody Farquhar-Chang of Kennel Flora, for the purpose of beginning a DSF breeding program in the USA. We are all proud, and a bit teary-eyed, to see Flora on the AKC-FSS web page! CommentsLeave a Reply | DSFUSAThe DSFUSA Blog is a dynamic way to get information on Danish-Swedish Farmdogs in the USA.
